Company eeks a Success Coach to better the student experience and improve retention for their online associate degree programs. The position will be based out of the Toledo, Ohio Academic Center with an immediate start date preferred and no later than February 24th. The Success Coach will provide proactive and ongoing support for online Associates Degree seeking students. Coaches support students’ academic and personal success in weekly phone meetings geared towards ensuring that students are on track to reach their goals and persist to graduation. The Success Coach will be responsible for maintaining accurate student information, projecting, assessing, and reporting on student performance. In addition, the Success Coach will guide students through problem resolution and help students connect with online support services. The Success Coach must build positive and trusting relationships with a diverse student population by motivating, supporting, and encouraging students by phone, email, Facebook, and instant messenger.
The successful candidate will be an effective, empathetic, and engaging communicator with sharp critical thinking skills and sound judgment. The candidate will possess a passion for exemplary student service with high energy and motivation, and have experience providing constructive feedback to students. Demonstrated time management, computer, and organizational skills are required. Bachelor’s degree required; experience in management, or in mentoring and advising students in higher education is preferred. Willingness to work weekends and evenings is also required.
